Sunday, July 15, 2012- Rev. Andy Kille

On July 15, we welcome Rev. Andy Kille, a longtime friend and frequent preacher at New Community.  A former pastor of Grace Baptist Church in San Jose, he is the current editor of BibleWorkbench (www.bibleworkbench.org), a resource for encountering the Bible in new ways.  He has been involved for over 30 years in building interfaith relationships in the South Bay, and currently serves as Chair of the Silicon Valley Interreligious Council.
Andy reminds us that it has been said that there are three kinds of people: those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what happened.  Andy will be leading a reflection on Amos 7:7-15, asking what it might mean to be “Watching the Signs of the Times.”
