Transgender Day of Rememberance

Progress has been made towards eliminating transphobia, however, there are still many challenges to be met.  Change cannot take root and grow in fear and isolation; such transcendence always takes  community awareness, boldness, and participation.   Transgender Day of Remembrance is a day to memorialize those who have passed away as a result of transphobia, and to bring attention to the violence and challenges faced by the transgender and gender non-conforming community.
